Meet the Director of Undergraduate Studies:
Professor Pao-Lin Tien!
Professor Tien has been at GW since 2017 and teaches macroeconomics at the introductory and intermediate levels. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, and earned her B.A. in Mathematics-Economics from Wesleyan University. Prior to GW, Professor Tien worked as a research economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and was Assistant Professor at Wesleyan University.
The Economics Department Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) is available to answer any questions regarding the undergraduate economics program.
